Every week we deliver a diverse range of classes in Environmental Studies, Photography, Computer Science and English here at Guaruma. Each class requires many different types of resources and equipment, from the very basic things such as pens and paper right up to the more complex such as cameras and computers. We run our programs on donations and if you feel that you would like to donate something specific to Guaruma below is a Wishlist of our immediate needs. All items are priced at the cost to buy here in Honduras, just click Donate to send us the money! All donors receive termly updates through our membership bulletin so you can see how your donation has helped.

	A Magazine Subscription Your donation would enable us to subscribe to magazines such as National Geographic en Español for one year; giving the students much needed access to current photography and writing to inspire, inform an educate them.
	Book Token Currently we have very few books for the students to study and use in their classes. We are looking for books in each of the subject areas. You can donate a book token to us to spend on building a library of inspiring books for our students for years to come. $10 $20 $40
	Canon A470 Digital Camera Every week we run over 12 hours of photography classes at our two projects not too mention the free time the students have to take pictures. A donation would help us ensure that each child in the class would have a camera to use.
	Canon A630 Digital Camera With a donation of slightly higher specification cameras such as these, our older students will be able to learn more advanced techniques and take higher quality photos.
	Memory Cards Every digital camera needs a memory card and our eager students fill them quick! Donations of memory cards allow us to give each child a blank one to go out and shoot with.
	Internal Hard Drive With a constantly expanding portfolio of student photography we currently have a need to improve our server. By donating an internal hard drive you will be helping us to save the children’s work for the future.
	Laser Printer Although we try to keep printing to a minimum we do have to print some things and currently we run on high quality photo printers. A Laser printer would be a faster, more economic and not to mention environmentally friendly way for us to Print the Eco Cangreal and our class worksheets and papers.
	Ink Cartridges Of course… every printer needs ink!
	A Laptop Currently the organization has two laptops and at any one time p to 6 volunteers! Your donation of a laptop would provide a much needed resource to our instructors at both sites to plan classes, use in class and give presentations about Guaruma throughout Honduras.
	Desktop Computer We currently have a computer classroom at each of our projects but although our class sizes are small we still have more students than computers in each. We would like to be able to ensure that each student has access to a computer in each class. Your donation would help us to achieve this, now and in the future.
	Mountain Bike Our volunteers work in two rural villages in the mountains of the Cangreal Watershed where buses are infrequent and the hills are steep! Your donation will enable us to provide the volunteers with transport to and from each site as well as provide us with bikes that could be hired to tourists.
	Rake Our students are keen gardeners and currently we are lacking tools! Your donations would help them continue their environmental activities in their communities, including the maintentence of their community gardens.
	Machete Much the same as the rakes machetes are the preferred tool around here for just about everything. Your donation would help our student in their environmental activities and the maintentence of their community gardens.
	Shovel Our students are keen gardeners and currently we are lacking tools! Your donations would help them continue their environmental activities in their communities, including the maintentence of their community gardens.
	Paper Laminator This donation would enable us to make reusable teaching prompts, signs and community projects with the students.
	USB Stick Being based at multi sites, one with no internet we often have problems moving information and work from one site to the other. USB sticks would be used by volunteers, staff and students alike to carry, transfer and use their work in presentations.
	Classroom Kit We have four classroom at Guaruma where we teach up to four subjects at each of our two sites every week. In every class we need paper, pens, pencils, coloring pens, board markers, scissors, glue…the list is endless. Your donation will provide a classroom kit with the basics to keep our classroom running smoothly each term.
