Welcome Amy

Guaruma would like to welcome our new English instructor, Amy Pimentel, to the program. Although originally from Pennsylvania, Amy has spent the past two years working in Washington, D.C. at a public relations firm. Previous to this, she also spent time in Uganda, Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer.

Welcome Karolina

A new Marketing Assistant joined Guaruma in the end of June. Karolina is originally from Poland but she completed her degree in Tourism Management and Masters in International Business Management in England. Karolina has previously volunteered in communications field in England and she also has marketing experience gained in Barcelona, Spain.

Welcome Nathaniel

Nathaniel is from Torquay in England, and comes to Guaruma through the European Voluntary Service.  He is helping at Guaruma with agriculture and ecotourism projects, gaining work experience in development and the environment before attending university.
