Thursday, April 22nd Guaruma’s students participated in a parade in La Ceiba to celebrate Earth Day. Our students made signs about the importance of the environment and marched with students from other schools in La Ceiba in order to underscore the importance of conserving our only planet.
During Semana Santa Guaruma participated in an ecological campaign in the Cangrejal Watershed. We distributed plastic bags to all the tourists that came to enjoy the beauty of the river, the objective of which was to limit the amount of trash thrown in the river and maintain the cleanliness of the area after vacation. Guaruma’s students [...] Guaruma’s staff and students celebrated semana santa this week with trips to go swimming and movie nights in Las Mangas and El Pital.
