We are happy to announce that planting has begun in the Guaruma Herb and Vegetable Garden in Las Mangas. In their environmental education classes the Jaguars have been organizing and building the garden for the past several weeks. They have created a design, selected species, and have built the beds in which [...] Sandra ten Zijthoff began as the new assistant director of Guaruma and director of nature photography and design in Las Mangas on the 1st of July, 2010. Sandra, originally from the Netherlands, has a MSc in International Development from the University of Amsterdam and previous to working with Guaruma worked as [...] A new Marketing Assistant joined Guaruma in the end of June. Karolina is originally from Poland but she completed her degree in Tourism Management and Masters in International Business Management in England. Karolina has previously volunteered in communications field in England and she also has marketing experience gained in Barcelona, Spain.
