Guaruma would like to welcome our new English instructor, Erin Coutts, to the program. Although originally from Washington D.C., Erin has spent time in Chile, Spain, and Honduras. From October 2007 to January 2009 she worked for the Organization for Youth Empowerment (OYE) in El Progreso where she managed the scholarship and volunteer program among other responsibilities.
Erin has a B.A. from American University in International Peace and Conflict Resolution and has studied development and environment issues in Latin America as well as photography. She will be teaching English classes in Las Mangas and El Pital through May.

Hi Erin,
Hope all is well with you. Hope you remember me, I was at the Guaruma project in January with the Rotary group from Grand Cayman. I have a friend heading over to Villas Pico Bonito for Easter and am wondering if you guys need anything and if you still want what TEFL books I have.
