Parents’ Meeting

Saturday, May 15th the Guaruma parents met to discuss the organization’s projects and classes.

The meeting in El Pital took place at 3pm and after talking about classes, Guaruma thanked the community for donating some land near Escuela Abrahan on which it will execute an ecotourism project in collaboration with CARE for the benefit of the community.

The Las Mangas meeting took place at 5pm and we presented plans donated by Chalmers Gibbs for a new community center that the community will be building this year.  Members of the community and Guaruma’s executive board discussed the plans to generate new ideas for the architects and we anticipate an excellent collaboration between all those involved.
