On Saturday June 19th, Guaruma was invited to attend a symposium organized by the Spiny Lobster Initiative at the Quinta Real Hotel in La Ceiba. The Spiny Lobster Initiative promotes sustainable fishing practices and biodiversity conservation in Honduras and Nicaragua. The Initiative connects and supports different stakeholders, encouraging collaborative work to sustain the spiny lobster population. Guaruma set up a stand with promotional materials such as posters, postcards, calendars, tourist maps and brochures. We would like to thank Spiny Lobster Initiative for inviting us to this important event and all those who bought a Guaruma 2010 calendar.
