Cayman Sunrise representative, Marilyn Conolly and family, visited Guaruma today, July 2nd, 2010. The Conolly family stayed at the Lodge in Pico Bonito and, after donating the Rotary’s six cameras to Guaruma (including one with underwater housing, great for shots in the river!) and a short tour of the facilities in Las Mangas, went for a hike on the Guaruma Trail, ending with lunch at El Encanto de Dona Lydia, a neighboring hotel.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to those who donated their cameras and to the Rotary Club in general for their continuous generosity and interest in Guaruma. The cameras arrived just in time as several of our cameras have been breaking due to wear and tear.
We look forward to any additional visits by Rotary Club members and friends, please do not hesitate to visit Guaruma again!
