Guaruma is a Honduras based non-profit organization that promotes environmental awareness and conservation in the Rio Cangrejal watershed on the Eastern edge of Pico Bonito National Park.

Through the elaboration of community wide environmental education, youth and adults in the area are engaged as active participants in the protection of the local environment. Guaruma promotes rural development and natural resource conservation through its multi-dimensional education program.
